Aspire Revvo Tank Review – Is Arc Coil Worth It?

With a distinctive top-fill design allowing refilling, using the drip tip, the Aspire Revvo is basically a sub ohm tank. The really innovating feature is its new ARC system (Aspire Radial Coil). It is linked by some with the old-school coils i.e. “Stovetop coils”. At $29.99 it comes in chrome, black and stainless steel but does it deliver the way it should in terms of flavor, longevity and a better vapor? Let’s check it out.

Features

To fill the leakproof Revvo tank, you have to use the funnel-like cone inside the portion with drip tip above a spring. Using a fine dripper will be better. The funnel cone can be pushed down and squeezed using the bottle. With its tank situated below the coils, it resembles the design of an RDTA. The drip tip shall be used to get the filling system to work. I also found out that spit back protection job is done perfectly by the conical fill port.

Aspire Revvo Tank Review

To get a spin-free tank, the Revvo has an adjustable airflow top. Two capacities of 3.6 ml and 2 ml TPD version are available for the Revvo. The stainless steel version is originally sold and the chrome and black color can be purchased separately.

Performance

Available in 0.1 – 0.16-ohm resistance Kanthal coils, the new ARC coils are only ones which work with Aspire Revvo Tank. I have one where the SkyStar mod reads 0.15 ohms. To get more vapor and better flavor the coil is pressed and turned into a shape like the top of a flat electric stove coil. The flavor was fine but I have experienced better. The life of coil is excellent and as for the tanks, I would rank them in the middle range. I have been using the coil for more than 20 days and it is still working fine.

At around 85 watts, the Revvo works best with half-closed airflow. In CPS mode I enjoyed my time vaping on SkyStar mod, using 90 watts, 85 watts, and 80 watts for 1 second whereas I used the 75 watts for 2 seconds. Otherwise, I was using 70 watts mostly.

Pros & Cons

Pros Cons
New system for coil Average vapor and flavor
Easily fillable Slightly low juice capacity
Leakproof No drip tip and coil options
Long coil life
No spitback

Summary

I will be honest here. The performance here is just average. So I cannot recommend this to you. I am not saying that is not good and the feature of a leakproof tank! Pretty awesome. But coming to the main reason for vaping, vapor and flavor, it is not that good in those ways. So would you still spend your money just to buy a leakproof tank? I would certainly not put my money in it.
