E-Cigarettes Safer Than Smoking: UK Government Shows Support for Vaping

Looks like there has been a major breakthrough in the electronic cigarette industry and the vaping community aswell. A major health organization in the United Kingdom has concluded that vaping is 95 percent less harmful than smoking tobacco products.

Are e-cigarettes safer than smoking? Well, here’s an answer to all the vaping critics: Public Health England (PHE), which is a part of the Department of Health in the UK, has published findings of a review showing support for personal vaporizers and stating that vaping can not be compared to smoking regular tobacco cigarettes ’ simply because it is much less harmful to the human body. Interestingly enough, in an unrelated survey, more than 20 percent of Brits said that they consider vaping as harmful or even more harmful than smoking tobacco products.

Stressing how important is to help smokers quit their extremely unhealthy habits, the PHE officials also stated that electronic cigarettes should be licensed as medical smoking cessation devices.

This announcement was being shared on social media websites very rapidly today, with vape business owners and vapers themselves ’ including us, of course ’ cheering all over the Internet. And that is quite understandable ’ as a number of other governments all over the world continue to postulate vaping as a harmful habit and even consider banning e-cigarette sales, these are certainly great news. There is now some reasonable hope that other health organizations will follow this example, and neither the electronic cigarette industry, nor vapers themselves will not have to worry about possible restrictions anymore.

Perhaps, you already now that we here at Ecigclopedia like to refer to vaping as the future of smoking. Now, it seems like that more and more people have a similar point of view.
