iJoy Capo 100W TC Starter Kit Review
Greetings, vaper. We’re back with another vape review. Today, we have the iJoy Capo. A device supposedly boasting 100W of considerable power. This isn’t for the faint of heart! But I’m gonna put my skeptical hat anyways because I’ve been a victim of hype before.
Full disclosure here, I haven’t tried the Capo before at all. My experience with 100W+ devices has been very pleasant so far. This one accepts a single 21700 high-amp battery (which does come with the kit – FYI), and a sexy, shimmering OLED screen.
With 3mL of e-liquid capacity and 0.5ohm and 0.3ohm coils, I expect to be spitting luscious garlands of tasty vapor in no time. I will be unpacking and reviewing the starter kit as I go along and share my thoughts with you.
Considering I am only one opinion, I’ve decided to collect reviews for the same iJoy from other experts and concoct a list of pros and cons. I’ll be only featuring the top 3 experts that I think give the most relevant information.
This way you’ll get a bird’s eye view of this product’s worst and best. Now, before unpacking this bad boy, let’s dig into the specs and features:

- Pleasant draw and flavorful
- It’s a very good-looking starter kit
Cons
- The coils aren’t great with the push-fit system and creates messes
- Guzzles e-liquid way too fast – too many refills, too soon

Pros
- Amazing look and great construction – vibrant and gorgeous
- The screen is sleek with a nice blue-ish font color
- Easy menu system to use and firmware is upgradeable
Cons
- The screen is a fingerprint magnet, unfortunately
- Would be best with a 18650 battery
- Up and down button are backwards from most other designs
Final Thoughts:
Apparently, this is a blast from the past – a solid starter kit from 2017 that is still selling like pancakes. That’s good news.
This one holds a single 21700, and iJoy includes it in the kit. There is the concern regarding a single battery running a 100W device, I am already expecting it to run out quick, but I guess we’ll have to find out.
Packaging is standard iJoy quality, everything is nicely packed in my experience. Reviewer Jai Haze’s box had a typo for “tool box” as “took box.” It was spelled correctly in my box, in case you’re wondering.
The tank is easy to fill and holds a good amount of e-liquid. The screen looks sturdy and feels nice at the touch, but it does show my fingerprints. It is quite the fingerprint magnet, indeed.
The threading makes a crunchy, unsettling sound when unscrewing / screwing the tank. Not quite like scratching nails on a chalkboard, but close.
I have to say the display gives you plenty of features and is very easy to navigate. It feels good to click those little buttons and adjust settings to your heart’s content. My only problem is the inability to lock the screen. What if you put it in your pocket and you butt-fire? (is that a term?) I guess I’ll turn it off with the five clicks.
Next up, the coils. Oh boy! They spit amazing vapor. I am currently vaping 0mg Cereal Milk by KILO (I quit nicotine, don’t judge!). This is so tasty, bro. Also, the lack of overhang from the tank, and the ability to replace it with another 25mm, makes me happy. I hate overhang, as you probably already know.
The airflow was extremely pleasant for me, the flavor remained luscious while the rampant clouds shot from my gullet. Reviewer Jai Haze placed the battery and it rattled too much, but with the include adapter, it fit snug into place and the display came on.
Let’s talk about the pros and cons from the other experts. Starting with the cons, there are plenty of nitpicks, but they’re just that – nitpicks. Frankly, I don’t think this is a device to pass on if the features satisfy your expectations. It’s not the most innovative thing in the world, and, despite it being from 2017, it holds up.
The cons are mostly about the fingerprint magnet screen and button rattling. The bigger concerns were regarding the battery life for a 100W device. Sure, it dies quickly if you vape consistently, but there is disagreement amongst reviewers there. Some want dual, some want 18650. Personally, I think it performed well.
None of this is a deal-breaker in my opinion, in fact, all reviewers concluded their reviews with great comments. Let’s move on to the pros.
Starting with the screen, it feels great, sturdy, and the aesthetics are very pleasant. The font shimmers a blue-ish light and doesn’t strain the eyes. Another huge pro was the missing overhang from 25mm sub-ohm tanks. The coils perform well, and the airflow (combined with the wattage power) allows for a cloud-chasing experience.
After skimming over the pros and cons, you’ll get a glimpse of how good this product really is. I love it, personally. It’s an older device, so the price point is more affordable than ever. It holds up, and a device that remains in circulation after 3 years should raise your hopes. It’s worth the fungolas.
