Prison for Vaping? The New Law in Malaysia!
If you plan to vape in a park in Malaysian state of Selengor, you can get punished for that:
- $2,300
- or up to 2 years in prison.
The new law will also apply for building with air-conditioner, shopping complexes, hospital, gas stations and shopping complexes. The same law applies for cigarette smokers.
Religious authorities in Malaysia have declared vaping as forbidden. However, this rule is widely ignored, as smoking cigarettes is also forbidden and there are a lot of smokers in Selengor.
