Suorin Air Plus Pod System Review
Greetings, vaper. We’re back with another vape review. Today, we’ll crack open another pod system. This time we’ll look into the Suorin Air Plus Pod System. This is a small, portable device shaped like a rectangle with replaceable cartridges holding up to 3.2mL of e-liquid. As with most pod systems, this is automatic draw, which means no buttons to pull tasty vapor into your gullet.
The battery is a decent 930mAh rechargeable built-in you can recharge via USB-C, and atomizer resistance of 0.08ohm. Now, I haven’t tried this product yet, so I will unbox it, try it, take it for a whirl, and give you my honest thoughts. If it blows, you’ll hear it from me. If it’s amazing, you’ll hear that from me, too. To keep up with our tradition, I will also compile reviews from other experts and collect their thoughts in a pros and cons list below.
As you scour through this list, you’ll get a glimpse into the best and worst this pod system has to offer. Furthermore, well, actually, there isn’t anything else to do but to unbox this puppy and see how it fares under scrutiny. First, let’s take a gander at the nuts and bolts:

Final Thoughts:
At first glance, this resembles a credit card. Reviewer Mike Vapes jokes about this being ideal for those who wear skinny jeans. I most definitely concur. It’s an awkward vape with the mouthpiece located on the corner of the rectangle. Think about that.
Anyways, moving on – you get a spare pod, which is always a humongous plus. Feels a little strange to fill up the pod, you have to pull an orange rubberized compartment. The magnets from the battery pulls the pod into place – and it clicks nicely.
Pleasant aesthetics and aluminum construction feel durable. If you’re familiar with the Caliburn (super popular device), the Suorin Air Plus is a little bit shorter in length. The atomizer gives terrific flavor and I agree with reviewer Mike Vapes, it’s a cool vape (temperature-wise).
Regardless, it’s comfortable and the airflow is convenient. The airflow shoots plenty of vapor, probably not ideal for a mouth-to-lung preference. I’d recommend holding off on nicotine salt for this one.
The battery charges quickly and lasts a good amount of time, considering I’m chain vaping it for the sake of this review. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, let’s review other expert opinions.
Starting with the negatives, a consistent complaint across all people was the LED battery light indicator that flashes as you draw. It’s hard to notice the levels and when you stop puffing, it instantly disappears. It’s difficult to know your battery charge levels this way. It’s a useless feature.
Another negative is the form-factor. Complaints across the board allude to the awkward corner mouthpiece. Reviewer Matt from SMM complains that you can’t hold it like a traditional vape. We all agree this resembles more like a credit card, so the form-factor of that should be self-explanatory. If you’re on the fence about this pod system, grab your credit card and hold it as a vape – that will be what this feels like (kinda).
Aside from the ergonomic and aesthetic nitpicks, there isn’t much else to complain about. Some comments are subjective preferences and not worth delving into them, considering these do not apply to others in most cases. For example, the fill plug. Many didn’t have issue re-filling, others complained about the awkward orange plug, and others didn’t even comment on it (possible for being pointless to do so).
Let’s move on the positives. A spare pod is included in the kit and it is indeed a great thing to see as you unbox this puppy. Everybody loved the spare pod and gave kudos to Suorin for this. Furthermore, if you’re familiar with the original Air Plus, you’ll be glad to experience a better battery capacity and larger e-liquid tank.
Many compliments on the airflow, except for those who wanted salt nics. The airflow is abundant on this one, and it is not recommended to vape nic salts.
Overall, this receives positive comments, but it is not an innovative device. The credit card shape seems like a try-hard attempt at differentiating from the other, regular, stick-looking pod systems out there. Of course, that’s changing, with weird shapes coming out of the woodwork, but it doesn’t feel natural. It doesn’t feel like it came from inspiration.
Aside from all those nitpicks, this is quite cheap, and it performs exactly what it promises. I can’t really expect the features of a sub-ohm tank and mech mod from a pod system. It is what it is, and it is decent.
There are, however, better options for the same price.
