Halo UK Passion Fruit

Halo UK Passion Fruit E-Liquid ReviewAfter first opening the Passion Fruit e-liquid bottle, we immediately noticed a quite unusual smell. Not to say it was bad or pungent, but it sure seemed a bit wrong. After the first vape, though, things radically changed – this immediately became our favorite juice from Halo UK.

This flavor encompasses a nice combination of sweet and sour. It, of course, is more on the sweet side, but I see no reason for it not to become your daily vaper. The taste – not the smell – really resembles fresh passion fruit, and we’d like to say it’s ‘mouth-wateringly exotic’ – it’s exceptionally juicy, fruity and makes you want more.

We also noticed that this particular e-liquid produces more vapor than the other flavors from Halo UK we tasted. Heck, there were some serious clouds even when we poured it in an old iClear i16.

The only thing that we didn’t quite like about this e-juice was the first impression – the smell coming out of the bottle. When vaped, however, the smell nicely blends with the taste and becomes a part of the outstanding flavor.

Halo UK Lemon

There’s a thing about citrus fruit e-liquids – people usually either love them or can’t stand them. I belong to the first ones, and, although I’m a real fan of orange flavors, lemon e-liquids usually are just too sour for my preference. However, this one was different – it is clear that mixologists at Halo UK have put some work into eliminating the sourness, but leaving a pleasant taste of lemon.

English tea with lemon – in fact, that was the first thing that came in my mind after opening this bottle, as well as after the first vape of this e-juice. After some more hits, more flavor of the lemon itself and a tiny bit of sourness became present. Although it never got too sour, there was an interesting aftertaste – it felt like I’d just eaten a slice of a fresh, unpeeled lemon.

This e-juice, in my opinion, can easily become a daily vaper for those who love citrus flavors. The lemon flavor is certainly there, but it’s not too strong, harsh, sour or sweet – it’s just like a nice cup of a very thin black tea with some slices of lemon in it. Oh, and it produces a lot of vapor!

One more thing: we tried this in the Pyrex tank of an Aspire Atlantis, as well as in an Innokin iClear 30s. Although some citrus flavors are known to crack plastic tanks, the iClear didn’t suffer any damage – even after five days with this particular lemon e-liquid in it.

Halo UK Blackjack

Halo UK Blackjack E-Liquid ReviewThe Halo UK Blackjack is a medium-sweet e-liquid with a pronounced flavor of anise. It resembles the taste of anise sweets, “Blackjack” brand in particular. I have never been much of a fan of anything anise related – sweets, soft drinks or liquor. But, let me tell you – when vaped, it tasted much better than I anticipated.

Despite the presence of anise, which might be a dealbreaker for some, The Blackjack provides a very smooth, silky taste and vapor. The anise aftertaste is there, and the smell of the liquid can also be described as ‘pure anise’, but it’s never too strong or irritating. It was, however, a bit refreshing, and, although to a much lesser extent, left the same feeling in your mouth and throat as after vaping some mint or menthol juices. All in all, it is definitely a nice vape for both hot summer nights, and cold winter evenings.

Thanks to the relatively high VG content, the vapor production is great. The Blackjack, as well as other Halo UK e-liquids, is not too sugary, therefore it’s a great choice for atomizer life.
